Getting Started
1. Character Creation
When you first start the game, you'll create your character. You can customize:
- Hair style and color
- Eye color
- Skin tone
- Outfit
2. Choose Your Starter Pokemon
You'll choose one of three starter Pokemon:
- Bulbasaur - Grass/Poison type
- Charmander - Fire type
- Squirtle - Water type
Tip: All starters are equally viable! Choose based on which type you prefer for building habitats later.
The Basics
Exploring Your Island
Your island has many areas to explore. Each area has different Pokemon, resources, and secrets to discover.
Meeting Pokemon
Wild Pokemon will appear on your island. You can invite them to stay by:
- Completing their request
- Building the right habitat for them
- Having enough space on your island
Building Your Island
Building Habitats
Each Pokemon needs a proper habitat. You can build:
- Forest habitats for Grass types
- Volcanic habitats for Fire types
- Ocean habitats for Water types
- And many more!
Customizing Your Island
Place furniture, create paths, and design your dream Pokemon paradise!
Daily Activities
Each day in Pokopia offers different activities:
- Check on your Pokemon
- Complete requests
- Gather resources
- Play mini games
- Visit Cloud Islands
Important: A new day starts at 5:00 AM in-game time. Make sure to complete daily tasks before then!
Tips for Success
- Focus on requests - They're the main way to invite Pokemon
- Build diverse habitats - Attract more Pokemon types
- Check every area - Hidden items and Pokemon everywhere!
- Save often - Use the save function at Pokemon Centers
- Talk to NPCs - They give tips and requests
